Jessica Ehule, MS, MSPH is the Director of Programs at CityMatCH, a national maternal and child health organization housed at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. CityMatCH promotes health equity through capacity building of the public health workforce and their community partners. During her time at CityMatCH, Jessica has led a number of initiatives such as the Institute for Equity in Birth Outcomes, a project focused on reducing racial disparities in birth outcomes. She is passionate about addressing health equity and social justice issues impacting our nation today, and understanding the history that has led to these outcomes. Jessica believes that the key to achieving equity is through transformative change of practices, policies, and procedures at the individual and organizational level to improve the health and well-being of mothers, children, families, and communities.
