Lori Adelman is the Vice President, Influence and Engagement, at Global Fund for Women. Lori leads the Communications and Engagement Team and oversees strategic communications, partnerships and special initiatives. She is thrilled to be supporting Global Fund for Women’s strategic plan with a focus on building and leveraging influence and visibility to support gender justice movements globally to thrive. Previously, Lori ran Feministing, an independent blog founded in 2004 that saw 1.2 million unique monthly visitors at its peak, and led youth engagement at Women Deliver supporting 700+ young changemakers around the world with strategies and resources to boost their impact. An advocate and media maker with 10+ years of experience promoting reproductive, racial, and gender justice globally, Lori also previously served at Planned Parenthood Federation of America as Director of Global Communications and has worked at the United Nations Foundation, the International Women’s Health Coalition, and Human Rights Watch.
