Jane Sloane
Senior Director of the Women’s Empowerment Program
Jane Sloane is Senior Director of the Women’s Empowerment program with The Asia Foundation, and works to advance women’s rights and gender equality through policy and legal change and grassroots women’s movements. She also leads a women’s climate resilience program in Asia and the Pacific. Previously, Jane was Vice President of Programs with Global Fund for Women, Vice President of Development with Women’s World Banking, and Executive Director of International Women’s Development Agency. Jane holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sydney and a BA from the University of Adelaide. She is a Senior Atlantic Fellow at the Inequalities Institute at London School of Economics. She is the author of the book Citizen Jane and the blog janeintheworld.com
