Jennifer is a passionate advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. She serves on the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission’s Inclusion Committee and started the agency’s participation in Fresno’s Pride Parade. In an effort to create social justice and equity, she has worked with various LGBTQ+ causes since 2001 in Sacramento, Fresno, and Bakersfield. Currently, she is working in cooperation with Fresno State students on a report addressing the lack of equal access to housing and health care for the transgender community in Fresno, California. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminology and holds a certificate in victim services.
