Nadia Segura is a Legal Officer at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, she handles legal pro bono projects and supports strategic legal research programmes on regional and cross-border issues. She also develops TrustLaw’s relationships with their members. Nadia has a special focus on human trafficking and women’s rights.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Nadia worked as a Supervising Attorney of the Survivors of Violence Unit at the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), a leading immigrant rights organization in the United States.
Nadia is a qualified lawyer in the United States and Mexico. She received a Master’s Degree from Columbia Law School, where she earned the Parker School Recognition of Achievement in International Law.
