Stephanie Psaki

Population Council’s Girl Innovation Research and Learning Center

Stephanie Psaki is Deputy Director of the Girl Innovation Research and Learning (GIRL) Center at the Population Council, which generates and translates high-quality evidence to transform the lives of adolescent girls around the world. She is a researcher with expertise in the intersections of gender, education, and health, and she leads numerous studies on these topics at the Population Council. She also works to translate evidence for policy-makers and practitioners, including providing guidance to high-level U.S. government officials to inform investment strategies. Before joining the Council, Dr. Psaki worked at Family Health International 360 and the U.S National Institutes of Health. She holds a Ph.D. in demography from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and an M.S. in global health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
